Caretaker (with Key Holder Responsibilities)
Location: WF9 4BQ area
Start Date: Monday 8th September 2025
Duration: Initially 1 week, with the likelihood of extension
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Caretaker to support a primary school in the WF9 area. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the school premises, ensuring security, and carrying out caretaking duties to keep the site safe and well-presented.
Key Responsibilities:
* Opening and locking the school as a designated key holder
* Ensuring the premises are safe, secure, and well maintained
* Carrying out general caretaking duties as required
* Supporting the day-to-day running of the school site
Working Hours:
* Morning: 7:00am – 9:30am
* Afternoon: 3:00pm – 6:00pm
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Caretaker or in a similar role
* Key holder experience is essential
* A proactive and dependable approach to work
* Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively
This is a temporary role starting on 8th September 2025, but with a strong possibility of being extended.
