Role Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual with prior experience of working in an accountancy practice to join our Uttoxeter office, on a full or part time basis.
The successful candidate will have a varied role which would include producing financial statements for Sole traders, Partnerships and Companies for management review. The role also requires the liaising with clients to provide support when needed and to resolve queries. The candidate will occasionally be required to provide training on cloud-based software to our clients and therefore must have a good understanding in this area.
Salary: £26,000 to £34,000 dependent upon experience.
Office hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (Part time hours considered)
Key Responsibilities
Assisting in the preparation of financial statements for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies
Preparation and submission of VAT returns
Working with accountancy software such as IRIS, Sage and Xero
Liasing with clients to resolve queries and provide support
General office duties
Candidate Requirements
AAT qualified/part qualified or equivalent professional experience
Prior experience working in an accountancy practice
Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and xxuwjjq Word
Good knowledge of Accountancy Software such as IRIS, Sage (Desktop and Cloud based) and Xero
Must have excellent attention to detail
Strong organisational and communication skills
Be able to work as part of a team as well as independently
Driving licence is preferable
