Looking to add a Project/Quantity Surveyor to their Midlands based Business Unit.
Description
As a core member of the commercial team, you will be responsible for leading pre‑ and post‑contract commercial activities and ensuring robust processes across each project. Responsibilities include:
Managing subcontract procurement, measurement, valuation, and contractual administration
Supporting and promoting strong Health & Safety standards through regular reviews and compliance monitoring
Leading valuations, cashflow management, and monthly reporting (including CVRs, procurement updates, and progress reporting)
Working closely with project teams to optimise procurement strategies, production efficiency, and commercial outcomes
Building and maintaining positive working relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
Supporting the development and performance of the commercial team
Profile
A successful Project/Quantity Surveyor should have:
Strong knowledge of construction methods, measurement, and valuation
Experience in subcontract procurement and familiarity with NEC contracts (preferred)
Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to drive cost control and maximise value
Confidence in engaging with clients, PQS teams, design consultants, and the supply chain
A proactive, collaborative, and solutions‑oriented approach
