We are currently hiring for Bartending positions at The Old School House on Lark Lane. We are looking for someone to join our team who has a passion for hospitality and thrives in fast-paced scenarios.
Experienced preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organised bar area
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist in opening and closing duties of the bar
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role
- Barista experience with working knowledge of coffees & coffee machine
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Excellent bartending skills, including mixing and garnishing drinks
- Strong hospitality and customer service skills
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and procedures
