About the role: The Youth Worker will be supporting young people with special educational need's on a one-to-one basis, and within small groups Building a strong rapport with the students to encourage them to attend and thrive in school Following the guidance of the teacher Working 8:30 - 15:30 Monday to Friday Working term time only About the school: Located in Bristol Caters to students with moderate needs, learning difficulties and Social, emotional, and mental health needs. Easily accessible with parking and public transport links. Supportive to staff, running weekly CPD training and team meetings. About you: A relevant Level 3 Qualification such as Children and Young People's Workforce, Sporting qualifications and more is desired but not required Able to obtain suitable references and a valid DBS check* Experience working with children with challenging behaviours and backgrounds A non-judgmental and caring approach *Vision for Education are committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
