Business Development Account Manager
Southend | Permanent | £25-£30,000 + OTE | Full Time
Our client is a specialist business development agency that supports marketing, creative, and digital agencies in generating new business opportunities. By building relationships with senior decision makers at leading brands, they help connect agencies with organisations actively looking for marketing support. Their focus is on creating meaningful introductions and long term partnerships that drive growth for their clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and engage senior decision makers such as Heads of Marketing, Brand Directors, and Digital Leads
* Conduct outbound prospecting through calls, email, and LinkedIn
* Hold consultative conversations with potential clients to understand their needs
* Book qualified meetings between brands and agency clients
* Build and maintain long term relationships with brand contacts and agency partners
* Manage and track your own sales pipeline
* Support the sales process from initial contact through to proposal stage
* Contribute to overall business development and growth strategy
Requirements:
* Previous B2B sales or business development experience
* Strong communication skills, both on the phone and in person
* Interest in marketing, branding, digital, or creative industries
* Self-motivated with the ability to work toward targets
* Quick learner capable of representing multiple clients
* Relationship focused approach to sales
* Able to commute to Southend-on-Sea
