Salary: Scale 5, £30,333.00 - £32,613,00 per annum
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

Intelligence in line with Data Protection principles, Human Rights, MoPI and RIPA legislation?
About the Role
Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
1. To process internal, external forces, partnerships and other agency intelligence submissions by sanitising, linking and carrying out initial research and development to link the source, relevant vehicles, nominal’s and property and to appropriately route the sanitised log and take appropriate action in line with the force guidelines.
2. To identify high priority intelligence including threats to life and firearms ensuring escalation to duty supervisor.
3. To ensure that the correct intelligence evaluation has been applied, to complete comprehensive risk assessments, flags and warnings where necessary.
4. Process Prison release notifications – task and action where appropriate.
5. To provide guidance and assistance in respect of intelligence submission requirements, source, provenance, grading evaluation and risk management, in line with national guidelines.

Educated to (to include Maths and English) OR work experience deemed to have brought the post-holder to a comparable level
