Full Time Radiographer urgently required for Private Hospital in the Vale of Glamorgan area
Dream Medical is working with a respected Private Hospital in the Vale of Glamorgan area and urgently requires a full-time Radiographer ASAP.
This role is full time (37.5 hours per week) with a salary of £21-25K depending on experience plus additional benefits.
Responsibilities
* Be an integral part of a team providing excellent patient care over two sites.
* Provide a high quality diagnostic imaging service through undertaking a wide range of radiographic examinations.
* Work closely with a wide range of other healthcare professionals to support and assist in the management and organisation of care provision.
* Perform radiological procedures within the department, on the ward and in theatre, as required, in accordance with department protocols and Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations (IRMER).
* Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment; be capable of working efficiently within a team and also have the ability to work single handed when necessary.
* Be flexible, review policies, procedures and protocols and make recommendations regarding their content and application.
* Provide day to day supervision of more junior and non-clinical staff within the department and participate in the on-call rota.
* On-call duties as required.
Requirements
* Ability to perform radiological procedures within the department, on the ward and in theatre, in accordance with IRMER.
* Enthusiasm and commitment to providing the highest level of care for patients and deliver a high quality diagnostic imaging service.
* Ability to work as part of a team and independently when necessary.
Salary and Benefits
Salary £21-25K depending on experience plus additional benefits.
