Job Title: Sales Advisor
Location: Shotton, Deeside
Remuneration: £25,000 - £27,000 DOE
Contract Details: Permanent, 40 hours per week (8am - 5pm, Mon-Fri)

Responsibilities:
As a Sales Advisor, you will be at the forefront of our customer interactions, ensuring an outstanding experience.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Handling inbound sales inquiries via telephone and email, checking stock levels and pricing using Microsoft Great Plains.
- Processing sales orders efficiently through our systems.
- Addressing customer queries and complaints, sourcing technical information when necessary.
- Responding to customer inquiries through various platforms, including web-based tools.
- Sourcing items from other suppliers as needed to meet customer demands.
- Maintaining high standards of administration and service to maximise profitability and service levels.
- Promoting the company's products and services positively while maintaining a professional image.
- Undertaking additional tasks as requested by the Branch Manager or Company Directors to support departmental success.
- Upholding the company's confidentiality agreement in all tasks.
Essential Skills/Competencies/Experience/Qualifications Required:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- Previous sales experience (preferred).
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills with multitasking capabilities.
- Excellent negotiating skills.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to flexible working arrangements.
- An interest in engineering and related products.
- A driven and enthusiastic sales orientation.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in numeracy, literacy, and word processing.
- Team player attitude with a commercial awareness of sales procedures.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Knowledge Required:
- Good ICT skills, including experience with Great Plains sales software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and OneNote.
- General knowledge of health and safety procedures.
Experience (and/or) Qualifications Required:
- Standard grades in English and Maths as a minimum.
