Old Oak Common is a new super-hub set to be the best-connected and largest new railway station ever built in the UK The station will have fourteen platforms, a mix of six high-speed and eight conventional service platforms, with an 850m-long station box. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v4C8ohnXf3js Role / Responsibilities: Complete Quantity Surveyor duties including pricing variations, interim valuations and valuing sub-contractors accounts, management of sub-contractor payment. Carrying out Commercial activities for specific areas of responsibility to deliver Project objectives. Provide support and assist Senior Commercial personnel with pricing of variations, interim valuations and valuing sub-contractors accounts. Plan, manage and monitor Commercial activities to meet the project objectives. Ensure these activities are carried out in a way that reflects best practice. Ensure project, profit objectives and targets are met, and cash and margin are managed to maximise performance, all in a manner consistent with the group processes. Ensure development needs of line reports are met and support with the development of the wider commercial function. Support cost control / management within the Project Team Requirements: Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline. Structures experience preferable but not essential. NEC Option C experience preferred.
