Job Description
3. Carry out planned maintenance activities in line with engineering and safety standards
4. Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns safely and efficiently
5. Complete remedial engineering works as directed by the Engineering Manager
6. Maintain and manage knowledge of on-site spare parts and plant assets
7. Communicate effectively with production teams and engineering colleagues
8. Identify, report and escalate any safety risks or potential equipment failures
9. Adhere to all health and safety legislation, site procedures and safe systems of work
10. Maintain high housekeeping standards across all work areas
Shift Pattern-Double Days (04:00-12:00 / 10:00-18:00)
The Successful Applicant
11. Holds a recognised engineering qualification (ONC in Electrical Engineering or similar)
12. Is skilled in both electrical and mechanical maintenance
13. Has strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a high attention to detail
14. Communicates confidently at all levels, both verbally and in writing
15. Is comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new CMMS or IT systems
16. Demonstrates flexibility, self-motivation and the ability to make sound decisions
17. Is willing to work unsocial hours, including potential night shifts
18. Has preferred knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and steam systems
