GSL Education are looking for a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team in Holbeach. Your Role as a Maths Teacher:
Create Exciting Lessons: Plan and deliver fun and engaging maths lessons that meet the needs of all students, helping them to enjoy and understand maths.
Inspire Young Mathematicians: Teach maths to students aged 11-16, encouraging them to think critically and solve problems with confidence.
Support Learning Beyond the Classroom: Lead or support maths clubs, competitions, or other activities that make learning maths enjoyable and meaningful.
Track Progress: Monitor how students are doing, give helpful feedback, and adjust your teaching to support everyone’s learning journey.
Build a Positive Environment: Create a classroom where every student feels safe, respected, and motivated to learn.
Keep Everyone Safe: Follow all health and safety rules and teach students how to stay safe in their learning environment.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher: You must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience Matters: You should have experience teaching maths in a school setting.
Strong Career History: Be ready to provide a ten-year career history with references from the last two years, including your most recent school.
Great Communicator: You should be able to communicate clearly and kindly with students, parents, and colleagues.
Motivator and Role Model: You should be someone who can inspire students to do their best and enjoy learning maths.
Creative Thinker: You should enjoy finding new and interesting ways to teach maths and make it fun for students.
Extra Qualifications: Any extra training or qualifications in maths education are a bonus, but not essential.
