Starting from £12.21 - £15.63 per hour depending on shift
Job Description:
As a Warehouse Operative, you will join our exceptional team at one of the UK's leading supermarkets based in WF9. Your role will involve picking goods for delivery to stores, using a scan gun or parcel sortation for online orders. This position requires a lot of manual handling, including loading, unloading and moving cages to different areas.
Shifts are provided on a rolling fixed 8-week cycle, providing you with the opportunity to plan your schedule in advance.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
We welcome candidates with previous warehouse experience; however, this is not a requirement as full training will be provided. A keen eye for detail when checking goods is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Operative, your daily duties will include:
Ensuring the correct processing and handling of products
Monitoring stock levels and reordering supplies as needed to meet customer demand
Adhering to all health and safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues
Shifts:
6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm or 10pm-6am
Working Hours:
You will work 24-40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled on a rota basis, consisting of 3/7, 4/7 or 5/7 working days. The rota will be issued 8 weeks in advance. You will be expected to cover shifts on a weekend every two weeks.
