As a Radiology Department Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting radiographers and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-focused imaging services. Requirements:

GCSEs (or equivalent Level 2) in English and Maths

Caring, reliable, and team-focused

NVQ Level 2 in Care or healthcare experience desirable

Main duties of the job

Radiology Department Assistants support Radiographers, Sonographers, and Radiologists in delivering frontline care in a busy Imaging Department, seven days a week. You will help create an efficient, safe, and caring environment, ensuring patients receive the highest standards of care.

We are looking for applicants who can demonstrate compassion, commitment, courage, and excellent communication and organisational skills. A good understanding of IT is essential. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Essential / Desirable

* GCSE in math
* Previous Radiology or Health Care Support Worker experience
* NVQ II or above in health and social care or equivalent

£25,760 to £27,476 a year per annum pro rata if part time
