McCann and Partners are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing teams in Cardiff and Bristol Offices.
This role offers the opportunity to lead projects, mentor engineers, and work closely with clients across a diverse portfolio of building services projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead electrical design across all RIBA stages
* Manage projects and coordinate engineering teams
* Develop client relationships and manage stakeholder communication
* Oversee QA procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards
* Support junior engineers and contribute to team development
* Undertake site inspections, commissioning support and technical reviews
Technical Experience
* LV distribution and switchgear
* Cable calculations (Amtech / ElectricalOM)
* Generator, transformer, and UPS systems
* Fire alarm and life safety systems
* HV infrastructure and private networks
* CAD and BIM software
Requirements
* Experience leading projects and managing engineering teams
* Member of CIBSE or IET (or working towards)
* Working towards Chartered Engineer status
