As the English Teacher, you will deliver creative, accessible, and meaningful English lessons tailored to a range of learning styles and abilities. You'll help students develop literacy skills, self-expression, and a love of language - whether through traditional texts, creative writing, or functional English. You'll be supported by a close-knit team of SEN professionals, therapists, and support staff.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver creative and accessible English lessons tailored to diverse learning styles.
* Help students develop literacy skills and self-expression.
* Collaborate with SEN professionals and support staff to enhance student learning.
Minimum Requirements:
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English Language and/or Literature.
* Enthusiasm for working with students with SEN and SEMH needs.
* Creativity, patience, and flexibility in teaching approach.
* Experience in SEN, alternative provision, or therapeutic settings (desirable but not essential).
* Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
* Hold QTS or be unqualified with relevant experience and/or academic background in English.
