job DescriptionWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join their supportive and dynamic team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, inspiring students to explore the world of computing, programming, and digital literacy.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver stimulating Computer Science lessons tailored to a range of abilities
* Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback and support
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and Problem-solving
* Manage behaviour effectively to maintain a safe and productive learning space
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources
* Contribute to digital initiatives, coding clubs, and whole-school ICT events
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A degree in Computer Science, ICT, or a related field
* Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level (KS3-KS5)
* Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for technology and innovation
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
