About the Role
We're looking for a motivated individual to oversee new loan applications from start to finish. This role involves coordinating with both internal colleagues and external partners, keeping up-to-date with lender requirements, and ensuring cases progress smoothly through every stage. You'll be responsible for managing applications, reviewing and collecting documentation, issuing instructions to solicitors, and ensuring a first-class service is delivered at all times.
Main Duties
* Take full responsibility for managing applications once submitted, ensuring they progress efficiently and clients receive outstanding service
* Stay up to date with product offerings and lender criteria, providing updates and guidance to the wider team
* Work towards agreed service-level targets, both personally and as part of the team
* Proactively manage workloads and maintain accountability for results
* Ensure all work complies with industry regulations, policies, and best practices
* Escalate case-related issues to your team leader where appropriate
* Embody company values through professional and positive conduct
* Offer feedback to improve processes, communication, and overall efficiency across teams and with external partners
* Identify opportunities for training or development to support continuous improvement
* Maintain a constructive, team-focused attitude
* Consistently follow company policies and procedures
* Anticipate and manage operational risks effectively
What We're Looking For
* Background in a regulated or specialist finance environment (advantageous)
* Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-moving environment
* Experience reviewing and assessing supporting documents for compliance with lender and regulatory standards
* Quick learner with the ability to understand and apply product and regulatory knowledge
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, confident telephone manner
* Ability to build strong working relationships with both colleagues and external partners
* Proven customer service experience, with a strong understanding of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF)
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Comfortable working with multiple systems simultaneously
* Solid literacy and numeracy skills
* Experience in the development finance sector, including structuring funding solutions, is desirable
* Previous experience working with a development finance lender or packager would be an advantage
* A genuine commitment to delivering excellent service

* Contract: Full-time, Permanent
* Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
