Driver Hire Reading are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 HIAB Drivers ahead of major upcoming work with leading builders’ merchants across the local area.
We are building a pool of reliable HIAB drivers ready to start as soon as work becomes available. This is an excellent opportunity to secure regular, well-paid work with respected national clients.
🔧 The Role
You will be delivering building materials to construction sites and residential addresses using HIAB lorries fitted with brick grab and remote.
Typical duties include:
1. Delivering building materials safely to site and customer locations
2. Operating HIAB (brick grab & remote) to offload goods
3. Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
4. Providing a professional, customer-focused service
5. Working safely in line with site and transport regulations
âś… Requirements
6. Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
7. ALLMI HIAB certification (Brick Grab & Remote essential)
8. Valid CPC & Digital Tacho Card
9. Previous HIAB experience preferred
10. Good knowledge of local area and site deliveries
11. Professional, reliable and safety-conscious
