Role Description
This is a as-required, on-site role located in Llanelli, for a Freelance Bid Writer. The role involves preparing compelling bids and proposals to secure new projects, working closely with the business development team and senior management. Responsibilities include conducting thorough research, understanding client requirements, tailoring responses to align with project specifications, proofreading proposals, and adhering to submission deadlines. The Bid Writer will also be responsible for maintaining bid documentation and ensuring compliance with industry and client standards.
Qualifications
Strong writing and editing skills, including the ability to create clear, concise, and persuasive content for bid proposals.
Proficiency in research, document formatting, and organizing technical content.
Experience in project planning and familiarity with deadlines, compliance standards, and proposal management.
Knowledge or background in civil engineering, construction, utilities, or related industries is desirable.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to proofread materials accurately.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple concurrent projects effectively.
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and stakeholders.
A relevant degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent professional experience will be considered.
