About Us: T J Marshall Consultancy Ltd is a sole practitioner Chartered Quantity Surveying Practice based in South Warrington, Cheshire. We are seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated and experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join us working part time on a diverse range of projects within a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare cost estimates, cost plans and budgets for various projects.
* Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis.
* Manage project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project success.
* Prepare tender documents and evaluate bids.
* Provide expert advice on procurement and contract management.
* Monitor and report on project progress and financial performance.
Requirements:
* A degree in Quantity Surveying.
* Personable and comfortable meeting Clients, Contractors and other Consultants.
* A minimum of 10 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
* Proficient in cost management software and tools.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* A full UK driving license is essential for site visits and client meetings.
