We are looking for hardworking and reliable Housekeepers to support our busy housekeeping team during peak periods. This is a casual role with flexible hours and a friendly, supportive environment.
About Windermere Manor Hotel
Windermere Manor Hotel is a welcoming Victorian property set within peaceful grounds and only a short walk from Lake Windermere.
The Role
Working hours are generally between 10 am and 4 pm. Your responsibilities will include:
* Cleaning and preparing guest bedrooms, public areas and leisure facilities
* Managing laundry and linen
* Maintaining excellent cleaning, hygiene and presentation standards
* Following all health, safety and cleanliness procedures
Essential Skills
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
* Strong attention to detail and consistently high cleanliness standards
* Good time management and the ability to work efficiently to deadlines
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* A positive attitude with a professional and friendly manner
* Good communication skills
* Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
* Physical fitness for tasks such as lifting, bending and standing for extended periods
Desirable Experience
Experience is welcomed but not essential, as full training will be provided. Ideally you will have:
* Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience, ideally in a hotel
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures
* Understanding of health, safety and hygiene standards
* Experience using housekeeping checklists or room status systems
