Responsibilities
* Report directly to the Business Manager and deliver strong operational and financial performance whilst maintaining high levels of customer service and team engagement.
* Manage day‑to‑day operations of operatives, staff and site‑based support to maximise site capability and capacity.
* Ensure optimum service delivery and the effective and safe organization of work processes while delivering maximum operational efficiency.
* Accountable for people management and ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and company quality, and health & safety obligations.
* Act as TM1 and implement and maintain compliance of all company policies and procedures, including fleet compliance and any changes to regulatory standards and legislation within the TM1/TM2 role capacity.
* Contribute to achieving the targeted level of operational profitability whilst delivering exceptional customer service.
* Utilize data to improve operational performance.
* Ensure the delivery of a first‑time collection culture.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in waste and fleet management.
* Transport CPC.
* Level 3 Leadership & Management or equivalent work experience.
