In this role, you’ll be the technical authority — owning the design of complex digital and analogue electronics, driving integration, and ensuring compliant, high-performance solutions are delivered with confidence.
🔧 What You’ll Be Driving
* Designing and developing digital & analogue circuits, PCBs, and complete electronic systems.
* Leading projects from concept through design, manufacture, and customer acceptance.
* Owning systems integration with hands-on troubleshooting and fault-finding.
* Collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners, including test houses.
* Ensuring compliance with CE / UKCA, EMC, RoHS, and Safety standards.
* Producing high-quality technical documentation — schematics, BOMs, and change notes.
* Presenting confidently at design reviews and leading technical discussions.
🧠 What You’ll Bring
* Proven senior-level experience in digital and analogue electronics design.
* Strong proficiency with OrCAD (or similar schematic capture & PCB design tools).
* Solid understanding of legislative and regulatory compliance (UKCA/CE, EMC, RoHS, Safety).
* Excellent hands-on skills with strong systems integration and fault-finding capability.
* Degree in Electronics, Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
* Current live UK Security Clearance (SC) — DV eligibility essential.
* Experience working with MoD customers and defence standards
* (Sonar experience is a strong advantage).
* Confident communicator with a collaborative, problem-solving mindset.
