The Role:
As a Warehouse Operative you will
1. Deal with delivery drivers, freight companies and other internal customers
2. Load and unload deliveries ensuring relevant paperwork is signed or attached to the goods
3. Assist with the Goods-In process when required including booking parts into stock, labelling parts and putting parts away in their correct location
4. Pick and label the correct parts and ensuring parts are packed and secured on pallets
5. Investigate any shortages of parts and liaise as appropriate with the relevant personnel
6. Liaise and always communicate with other team members and office personnel to ensure the customer orders and delivery dates are met
7. Carry out all relevant paperwork/computer work related to the job role and maintain reports/systems in a timely manner
8. Participate in stock counts and co-ordinate the necessary transactions to the stock system to ensure it is up to date
Hours of work:
9. 39 hours weekly
10. Mon - Thurs 8am -, Fri 8am - 2pm
Requirements:
The suitable Warehouse Operative will have
11. Previous experience in a fast-moving stores or despatch environment
12. Good IT skills
13. Forklift licence desirable
14. Self-motivated and high energy
15. Ability to work within a team
16. Ability to work in an environment with constantly changing priorities
