About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Visitor Experience team at Heaton Park as the Venue Hire and Marketing Assistant on a permanent basis. The role supports Heaton Park’s varied year‑round visitor programme, ensuring a high‑quality, engaging and varied event offer throughout the year.
As an assistant, you will support the Venue Hire and Marketing Coordinator, facilitate venue hire bookings, respond to filming and photography requests, and help coordinate community events within Heaton Park. You will work alongside key stakeholders and the wider Parks Service to maintain quality and safety standards, and support the creation and delivery of marketing and communications that represent Heaton Park.
Responsibilities
* Facilitate venue hire bookings and coordinate related logistics.
* Respond to filming and photography requests for events.
* Assist with community event arrangements within Heaton Park.
* Support marketing and communications initiatives, including social media content.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain venue quality and safety standards.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in a customer or visitor‑facing role.
* Administrative experience.
* Events experience (desirable).
* Marketing experience, including social media (desirable).
Requirements
* Minimum 3‑year reference history.
* Suitable for Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
* Casual car documentation required where applicable, with a valid driving licence.
* Proof of right to work in the UK.
