We’re looking for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our team.
Location
Remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.
Hours
Full‑time with some flexibility on hours available if desired.

Role Overview
As a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take ownership of the commercial management of significant construction projects from pre‑construction through to final account. This is an opportunity to shape strategy, drive profitability, and ensure robust cost control whilst working collaboratively with a supportive team. You’ll play a key role in delivering successful outcomes, managing relationships, and developing others along the way.
Responsibilities
* Managing cost and value reconciliation, and overseeing financial reporting across projects
* Administering contracts and ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations
* Leading the preparation and negotiation of variations, compensation events, and claims
* Managing subcontractor accounts, payments, and final accounts
* Mentoring and developing Quantity Surveyors and trainees within the team
Qualifications
* You hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
* You have experience managing commercial aspects of construction projects
* You are confident with contract administration (NEC, JCT, PPC 2000 or similar)
* You are comfortable leading, mentoring and developing others
* You are working towards or hold membership of RICS or CIOB (desirable)
