Temporary Reconciliations Specialist - 6-Month Contract

We are seeking a detail-oriented Reconciliations Specialist for a 6-month temporary assignment in Knottingley. In this role, you will play a key part in helping to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform detailed reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
2. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
3. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data integrity and improve processes.
4. Utilise advanced Excel skills for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
5. Adhere to deadlines while managing a high volume of transactions.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
6. Proven experience in a reconciliations role or other finance-related position.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, and data analysis tools).
8. We could consider a bright graduate calibre candidate wanting their first role in finance
9. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
10. Ability to work on-site in Knottingley for at least 50% of your time.
11. Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
