SEN Learning Support Assistants Required - Basildon and Surrounding Areas We are currently recruiting SEN Learning Support Assistants to work across Basildon and the surrounding areas, supporting pupils with additional needs in both mainstream schools and specialist SEND settings. These roles involve supporting children and young people with a range of needs, including: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) Additional complex and behavioural needs We have a mix of contract and permanent opportunities available. Due to the nature of the pupils and the consistency they require, the majority of roles are full time, although part-time positions do occasionally become available. What we're looking for: Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, either in a school or care setting A patient, calm and nurturing approach with the ability to build strong relationships A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 childcare or education qualification is desirable, however candidates with strong, relevant experience and the right character will absolutely be considered What's on offer: Roles in supportive, well-resourced schools Opportunities in both mainstream and SEND settings Daily rates dependent on experience, ranging from £95 to £110 per day Long-term stability with opportunities f...
