About the Role We’re seeking an experienced Development Manager to lead our software development efforts across both product and client implementation projects. This role combines technical leadership, people management, and client engagement to ensure delivery quality, team performance, and the successful deployment of our cutting-edge AI solutions. You will line-manage technical teams — including architects, developers, and application engineers — and act as the bridge between product engineering and client delivery. With a strong focus on .NET, C#, Azure, and GenAI technologies, you’ll drive technical excellence, enforce development standards, and ensure projects meet both client requirements and ICS.AI’s strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage technical teams to deliver high-quality software solutions Oversee both product development and client implementation projects Establish and enforce development standards, QA processes, and best practices Collaborate with Delivery teams to optimise resource allocation and project timelines Manage Azure resources, cloud costs, and security controls Act as a technical liaison with clients, translating complex concepts into clear solutions Drive the adoption of GenAI technologies and responsible AI practices into products Ensure software compliance across accessibility, licensing, security, and regulatory requirements Facilitate knowledge sharing, mentoring, and professional development within the team Support pre-sales efforts with technical expertise and solution design input Required Skills and Experience 8 years of professional software development experience with C# and .NET 5 years in technical leadership or management roles Proven track record of delivering Azure-based solutions in both product and consultancy environments Experience with GenAI technologies and their practical applications Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and backlog management Commercial awareness with experience in resource planning and cost control Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership skills Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field Professional certifications in Azure, .NET, or Project Management (desirable) What We Offer Flexible and remote working options.
