Support WorkerPay rate:£13.50 Days - £9.50 Sleep Rate(weekly or monthly pay available)Shift Pattern:10.00am till 10.00pm sleeping night – Afternoon Shifts 15:00pm till 22.00pmWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team and support an individual with complex care needs and learning disabilities who lives in their family home.This is a meaningful role where you will be enriching someone's life, promoting independence, and becoming part of a supportive care environment.This is a person‑centred support role focused on providing high‑quality care and creating positive, meaningful experiences.Your responsibilities will include:Providing day‑to‑day support that promotes social interaction, meaningful engagement, and overall, well‑being.Accompanying individuals on community outings and activities, offering encouragement and practical assistance.Assisting with household tasks to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.Communicating clearly and confidently in the individual's preferred style, fostering a strong and trusting relationship.Experience and Skills of a Support Worker:Proven experience supporting individuals with complex care needs.Naturally compassionate and caring, with strong resilience.In‑depth understanding of Autism, Epilepsy, and complex Mental Health conditions.Skilled in supporting individuals who may present behaviours perceived as challenging.Strong knowledge of person‑centred care, with the ability to build positive, trusting relationships.Able to remain calm under pressure and communicate clearly, confidently, and respectfully.Demonstrates empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to enhancing each individual's quality of life.Who we are:acuity care delivers specialist support across Brain Injury, Spinal Injury, Learning Disability & Autism, and Mental Health Services.
