Role Overview:
Infinity Group is seeking an exceptional Head of Enterprise Architecture & Pre‑Sales to lead, scale and transform our pre‑sales capability.
This role goes far beyond traditional pre‑sales management. We are looking for a strategic technical leader who can architect complex, end‑to‑end Microsoft solutions, drive innovation across AI and emerging technologies, and take full commercial ownership of the pre‑sales function.
You will act as the technical authority for sales, owning solution design, deal shaping, margin protection, and the evolution of our pre‑sales operating model. You will build and lead a high‑performing team while remaining hands‑on in complex, high‑value opportunities.
What skills and working characteristics should this person have?
* Proven leadership experience in pre‑sales, solution architecture or technical sales within Microsoft ecosystems.
* Deep hands‑on expertise across: Dynamics 365 (Business Central and/or CE), Microsoft 365 & Azure, Power Platform, Data & Analytics, AI technologies, Copilot and automation
* Demonstrable experience designing end‑to‑end, multi‑disciplinary solutions.
* Ability to influence at board and executive level, internally and externally.
* Track record of building, scaling and leading high‑performing teams.
* Experience building reusable IP or packaged offerings.
* Background in consulting or Microsoft Partner environments.
* Strong understanding of delivery models, resourcing and project risk.
* A strategic mindset with the confidence to challenge sales, clients and stakeholders when required
As a Head of Enterprise Architecture & Pre‑Sales, you’ll be responsible for:
* Strategic & Technical Leadership
* Own the end‑to‑end solution architecture across Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Azure, Data, Power Platform and AI.
* Define reference architectures, patterns, and standards to ensure scalable, repeatable, high‑quality solutions.
* Act as the senior technical authority on complex, multi‑workstream and enterprise deals.
* Translate business outcomes into robust, commercially viable technical designs.
* Pre‑Sales & Commercial Ownership
* Take accountability for pre‑sales commercials, including:
* Deal sizing, estimates and cost models
* Resource assumptions and delivery feasibility
* Margin protection and commercial risk identification
* Partner with Sales leadership to shape deals, influence pricing strategy and support long‑term account growth.
* Own the pre‑sales approval process for large or high‑risk opportunities.
* Define and measure pre‑sales performance metrics (win rates, solution reuse, efficiency, margin outcomes).
* Innovation, AI & Differentiation
* Drive innovation across AI, Copilot, automation and data‑led solutions, ensuring Infinity Group remains ahead of the market.
* Identify opportunities to create reusable IP, accelerators and packaged offerings.
* Work closely with delivery and product teams to turn innovation into commercially viable propositions.
* Stay ahead of Microsoft’s roadmap, emerging technologies and competitor offerings.
* Team Leadership & Capability Building
* Build, lead and inspire a high‑performing pre‑sales and solution architecture team.
* Define clear roles, career pathways and capability models within pre‑sales.
* Coach and mentor consultants to become trusted advisors, not just demo or proposal resources.
* Create a culture of ownership, innovation and commercial awareness.
* Stakeholder & Client Engagement
* Act as a senior, trusted advisor to C‑level and senior client stakeholders.
* Lead executive‑level meetings, solution workshops and high‑stakes presentations.
* Represent Infinity Group in strategic partnerships, events and Microsoft engagements.
* Ensure seamless handover from pre‑sales to delivery, maintaining solution integrity
