Nurture Room Lead

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 1:30pm, term time only plus INSET days

Contract: Fixed term for 1 Year, from September 2026

Salary: Support Staff Payscale JG6

A fantastic opportunity has become available at our high achieving school for an ambitious LSA to become an inspirational Nurture Room Lead.

The successful candidate will:

•Be an experienced SEN practitioner

•Be child-centred, organised, resourceful and proactive

•Show resilience, empathy and kindness

•Have experience of working with SEND children from EYFS to Y6

•Have experience of working with children who need additional SEMH support, including those who may have experienced previous trauma.

•Hold qualifications or have had training in nurture approaches and practices such as Thrive, ELSA or Nurture UK.

•Be able to foster excellent relationships with children and adults

•Plan for and provide a stimulating environment both indoor and outside

•Have the ability to contribute positively to the wider team
