What you will do:
- Conduct thorough assessments and interventions with individuals and families to identify needs and determine appropriate action plans
- Undertake Safe-Guarding Enquiries to ensure the protection of vulnerable adults
- Perform Mental Capacity Assessments to ascertain the cognitive abilities of individuals
- Develop comprehensive care and support plans tailored to the unique needs of clients
- Engage in court work and prepare evidence-based reports as needed
- Prioritise and address pressing cases efficiently to meet deadlines
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination with other service providers and agencies
- Ensure compliance with the Care Act and associated legislations in all dealings
Requirements of the Social Worker:
In order to excel in this role, you will need a degree or equivalent in social work and current Social Work England registration. You should have significant frontline experience in Social Services within the UK. Expertise in Adult Social Work, particularly in completing Safe-Guarding Enquiries, is essential. You should also be proficient in conducting Mental Capacity Assessments, strength and need assessments, and creating detailed care and support plans. Experience in care act assessment and related assessments is crucial. Being able to manage caseload priorities and meeting deadlines is key for success.
