Student Welfare Officer & DDSL Position
Lincoln Castle Academy is looking to appoint a Student Welfare Officer and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) to join our academy in May 2026 on a permanent, full‑time basis.
Responsibilities
* Assist in tackling under‑achievement by working in partnership with families, parents/carers, students and external agencies to enable students, particularly the most disadvantaged, to have full access to educational opportunities and to overcome barriers to learning and participation.
* Work directly with families in a non‑judgemental way, empowering them and their relatives to maximise the educational opportunities available.
* Support the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) in the academy as Deputy DSL.
Qualifications & Eligibility
