We’re looking for a Graduate Structural Engineer to join Arc Partnership’s Design team to deliver structural services and towards the successful completion of projects .

In this role you will:
* Produce technical drawings on a range of projects in 2D/3D using Autodesk Revit, Tekla Structures, AutoCAD and/or other appropriate software.
* Design simple structural elements of a project and produce a loading take down of a building and design simple stability elements.
* Collaborate with diverse clients and multidisciplinary design and delivery teams to support the development of briefs, carry out feasibility studies and undertake structural engineering design and project delivery.
* Develop competence and proficiency in spatial coordination, technical design, and emerging technologies and processes including Building Information Modelling (BIM).
* Produce, analyse, and advise on detailed specifications for suitable materials or processes to be used in the production of robust details.
* Attend meetings and site visits to maintain regular audit and inspection visits to properties and collect condition survey data and provide appropriate advice to colleagues, partners, and clients.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholder such as contractors and other disciplines, and provide technical advice, instruction, and reports.
* Provide specialist technical advice and support to ensure Arc Partnership meet its statutory and Health & Safety requirements across all workflows, and to ensure that all risks are identified and effectively managed.
What you’ll bring:

* A passion for structural engineering and eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
* BEng (Hons) Structural Engineering or BSc Civil Engineering accredited by the Institution of Structural Engineers and Institution of Civil Engineers.
* Some post graduate experience of designing and detailing building structure is desired.
* Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to use own initiative to manage and prioritise own workload and projects.
* Meticulous attention to detail with analytical approach to problem solving.
* Ability to build rapport with colleagues, clients, and contractors.
* Excellent oral, written and listening communication skills.
* IT literate and ability to use all Microsoft Office packages.
* Full driving licence and use of a car with insurance for business use.
