As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a motivated and organised Trainee Fleet Administrator to join our team at our Cumbernauld depot. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop their career within a busy fleet environment, with full support and training provided. The Role As a Trainee Fleet Administrator, you’ll support the Fleet Manager and wider Fleet team with the day-to-day coordination and compliance of our vehicles and drivers. You’ll help ensure that all records are accurate, up to date, and meet company and safety standards. You’ll liaise with drivers and departments across the business, gaining hands-on experience in managing driver performance, vehicle checks, and fleet compliance systems. Key Responsibilities Run and review weekly driver performance reports, highlighting key information for the Operations team. Carry out daily and weekly audits of vehicle checks, keeping the Fleet Manager informed of any issues. Communicate with company drivers regarding: - Missing vehicle checks - Speeding or driver behaviour alerts - Mobile phone use and other compliance matters Maintain accurate driver and vehicle records across internal systems, including Fleetcheck Licence Assured. Support the management of the Cameramatics system, ensuring footage and data are reviewed, logged, and acted upon where necessary. Liaise with the company’s Insurance provider regarding employee drivers, incidents, and documentation. Assist with general administrative duties to support the Fleet Manager and wider team. About You Some experience in administration would be helpful but not essential (for example, in logistics, construction, manufacturing, or office environments). Strong attention to detail and accuracy when managing data. Confident communicator with a professional approach. Good organisational and multitasking skills. Competent IT user – especially Excel and Outlook. A proactive attitude, keen to learn and develop within a fast-paced, safety-focused business.
