Vision Teaching are working in close partnership with a specialist SEN school in Feltham, Hounslow to recruit a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team as soon as possible on an ongoing basis.

The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with ASD across the school day. You will work closely with teachers and the wider support team to deliver engaging learning experiences and help pupils develop key communication, social and life skills.
Your responsibilities will include:

Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASD
*
Supporting pupils with communication, emotional regulation and social development
*
Assisting with the delivery of structured and sensory-based learning activities
*
Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting independence
*
Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists and support staff
*
Helping to create a safe, calm and supportive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for someone who is compassionate, patient and committed to supporting children with additional needs.
You will ideally have:

Experience working with children or young people with SEN or ASD (school, care, youth work or similar)

A strong interest in special educational needs and inclusive education

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The ability to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
