We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Short Stay Unit!
About the Unit: Our Short Stay Unit is a 40-bed, fast-paced environment that primarily cares for patients with a length of stay of up to 72 hours. We provide comprehensive care for acute medical patients with a variety of conditions.
Support to Ward/Department Leader:
* Collaborate with the Ward/Department Leader to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Nursing Care:
* Deliver and monitor high-quality nursing care for a designated group of patients throughout their care episode.
* Play an active role in fostering a positive and effective learning environment for all team members.

Knowledge

Qualifications
* First Level Registered Nurse
* Critical care skills
Further Training
* Change management and leadership skills.
* Supervisory skills
* 997 and 998 or FLIPS
* Cannulation and venepuncture.
* ILS
Experience
* Experience in an acute setting
Contractual
* Ability to work flexibly within working hours of ward/department.
* Demonstrate professionalism and patient advocacy.
