About the Role
Join a respected precision fabrication and engineering firm based in the North East, operating from a modern 13,000 sq ft facility equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and accredited to BSI ISO-9001 quality standards.
As a Press Brake Operator, you’ll play a vital role in shaping and bending high-integrity metal components that form part of complex projects across various sectors. You’ll be working with robust sheet and plate materials, bending and forming them to tight tolerances using CNC and manual press brakes. Quality and attention to detail are essential, as your work contributes directly to delivering technically demanding, precision-engineered solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate press brake machines for accurate metal bending

Work from technical drawings and specifications to produce precision components
*
Monitor and inspect work for compliance with strict quality standards
*
Maintain machinery and workspace to ensure safety and efficiency
*
Collaborate closely with production, design, and finishing teams to support end-to-end fabrication workflows
Ideal Candidate
*
Proven experience operating press brakes in a fabrication or engineering environment
*
Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and work to tight tolerances
*
High standards of workmanship and adherence to quality systems (ISO-9001 or equivalent highly regarded)
*
Reliable, team-oriented, and safety-minded—operating in a professional, fast-paced facility
