About the Role of Clinical Deputy Manager
As Clinical Deputy, you'll work alongside the Home Manager to lead and support a committed team of nurses and carers. Your focus will be on maintaining the highest clinical standards, driving compliance, and ensuring safe, person-centred care across the home. With your clinical expertise and leadership skills, you'll also play a key part in mentoring staff, auditing practices, and overseeing day-to-day operations.
You'll also have the flexibility to support sister homes locally when required - for this reason, a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
What We're Looking For in out Clinical Deputy Manager
* NMC Registered Nurse - Adult, Mental Health, or Learning Disabilities
* Previous experience as a Clinical Lead or Deputy in a care home setting
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Sound knowledge of CQC regulations and clinical governance
* Confident in wound care, medication management, and health assessments
* Organised, proactive, and IT literate
* A natural mentor with a passion for developing others
* Reliable and flexible with the ability to support across multiple sites
Qualifications & Experience required for the Clinical Deputy Manager
* NMC Registered Nurse with post-registration clinical experience
* Proven background in leading care teams and delivering high-quality care
