Established for over 30 years, we have ambitious growth plans, including investing £2m in 2023 to enhance our fleet with 50 new mobile service vans. Our team of experienced hydraulic engineers boasts a success rate of over 99% for first-time repairs on site. We utilize market-leading technology, including a customer portal for booking and tracking services with real-time updates.
To support our expansion, we are recruiting additional team members in the Southampton area.
A day in the life of a Hydraquip Mobile Engineer:
Each day varies, but generally, you will start by completing vehicle safety checks. If no pre-planned jobs are scheduled, you head directly to your work area. You respond promptly to customer needs, aiming to minimize downtime by attending breakdowns swiftly. Customers can track their job progress via our Hydraquip Job Manager App. On-site, you demonstrate industry expertise, working to find the best solutions while maintaining high service standards. You will also liaise with existing customers and identify potential new business opportunities.
You will also:
* Report job progress via the Hydraquip app on your company phone and update customer orders.
* Maintain and stock your van using the app, ensuring it is always well-stocked and clean.
* Participate in a standby rota (typically one week in three), which includes night and weekend work with overtime pay. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5:30 pm.
Who we are looking for:
We value each team member as a vital contributor and are seeking motivated, passionate individuals eager to become leaders in 24/7 On Site Mobile Hose Services in the UK.
* Experience in the Hose Replacement Industry is advantageous but not essential. Suitable backgrounds include Forklift/Plant fitter, HGV fitter, Agricultural Fitter, or access hire (hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge is a plus).
* Must hold a UK Driving Licence for at least 2 years.
* Self-motivated, punctual, reliable, and committed to delivering excellent service.
