We’re excited to be recruiting on behalf of a well-respected supplier who are looking for a Sales Account Manager to join their friendly, supportive team. They’re not necessarily looking for someone with lots of sales experience – instead, they want the right attitude; common sense, willingness to learn, proactive mindset, and confidence using computers/admin systems. The Role
1. Manage the enquiries inbox, ensuring quotes and orders are handled promptly.
2. Act as the main point of contact for your allocated customers.
3. Build strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
4. Make outbound calls to proactively engage customers and generate new business.
5. Answer incoming calls and respond to customer queries.
6. Meet personal sales targets and contribute to wider company goals.
7. Provide exceptional customer service - quotes issued within 1 working hour.
8. Support with pricing queries, upselling opportunities, and problem-solving.
9. Resolve issues relating to pricing, delivery, orders, or complaints.
10. Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and customer events/trade days.
11. Work collaboratively with senior management and colleagues across the business.
12. Maximise branch engagement and re-engage non-spending customers.
13. Communicate effectively across departments to support a smooth workflow.
The Person
14. Someone with solid admin, office or customer service experience
15. Confident on the phone and comfortable with outbound calling
16. Common sense, good judgement, and a proactive attitude
17. Willingness to learn and take initiative
18. Strong communication skills and a positive approach
19. Sales experience is beneficial but not essential
20. A team player with a willingness to support various areas of the business
The Package
21. Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm
22. Salary of up to £30,000 + comission (OTE £35,000) & bonuses
23. 20 days holiday + BH & Christmas Shutdown
