Nursery Practitioner – Early Years

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners to work across a range of nurseries in Cardiff. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated early years professionals who are committed to providing high-quality childcare and creating inclusive, nurturing learning environments.
The Role
You will support children from 6 weeks to 5 years old, helping to create a calm, welcoming, and safe environment where children feel confident to explore, learn, and develop independently.
Key Skills
We are looking for nursery professionals who demonstrate:
* Excellent communication skills with children and staff
* Strong observational and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Assist in creating a stimulating and attractive environment for the children.
* Always maintain confidentiality.
* Provide attentive and personalised care to children, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
* Support children with daily routines, including feeding, dressing, and personal hygiene
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
* Hold a Level 3 qualification in Children’s Care, Play, Learning and Development (CCPLD) or Early Years Practitioner Status
(Level 2 will be considered for some placements)
* Minimum 1 year experience working in an Early Years setting
* Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
* Welsh speaking is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
