Retail Store Manager

R13 are on the search for a stand-out Retail Manager who is keen to secure their next position, leading a flagship Norwich store. With a buzz from running a high-performing location, your role will be to bring out the best in your team, championing the store’s overall performance and truly leading from the front.
In this role, you’ll remain super hands-on on the shop floor whilst building a team that’s motivated, confident, and proud of what they do. You’ll keep the showroom looking impeccable, creating a fun and supportive place to work, and making sure every customer leaves feeling great about their experience.
Salary is offered at £33, – £38, DOE with an OTE of c£ - based on your store target performance. Hours of work are five days out of seven including weekends / bank hols (Monday – Saturday 9-5.30 / Sunday 10.30-4.30)

The Day to Day:
3. Lead, coach, and mentor a retail team to drive sales, deliver outstanding service and achieve all performance targets.
4. All aspects of people management incl. s, staff rotas and performance management.
5. Store figure reporting as well as daily target and quarterly plan breakdowns.
6. Provide exceptional customer service across all channels, including in-store and over the phone.
7. Lead by example with achieving sales targets; showcasing excellent personal sales approach.
8. Handle customer enquiries with professionalism, empathy, and a solutions-focused approach.
9. Uphold impeccable visual standards, ensuring showroom is welcoming and well-presented.
10. Oversee stock levels, pricing accuracy, and in-store signage to ensure everything is perfectly maintained.
11. Manage daily cash procedures and ensure full adherence to Health & Safety policies and regulations.
12. Champion new technologies and tools to elevate the customer experience.
You Will Have/Be:
13. Solid retail leadership experience in a B2C consultative selling environment.
14. Confident in selling high-value products (e.g. furniture or electrical retail sales)
15. Proven skills in leading, developing and motivating teams to achieve high performance.
16. A history of hitting and smashing sales targets as part of a wider business goal.
17. Brilliant communication skills, with a natural ability to coach and support others.
18. Driven and resilient with a genuine passion for developing people.
19. Confident in decision-making and ready to take full ownership of the store’s performance
