Circet UK are looking for an experienced Civils Operatives to join our team. We are looking for hardworking and committed crew members for long term work.
Location notes: Edinburgh, Perth, Grangemouth, Cowdenbeath, Livingston, Stirling, Dunblane and other Scotland sites may be listed as opportunities.
We are hiring to support telecoms infrastructure projects, including excavations, reinstatements and installation activities.
Responsibilities
* Provide new installation of duct, chambers, cabinets & associated equipment.
* Locate and clear blockages in verge, footway and carriageway and reinstate to Local Authority standards, capturing information and photos on company assets.
* Perform reinstatement across surface types (Concrete, HRA, SMA, Paving, Cobble-lock, etc.).
* Box/Chamber building for Heavy Civils Crews.
* Open cut trenching and installation of duct and equipment in various surface types (verge, footway, carriageway) for Heavy Civils Crews as applicable.
* Sub-ducting and install new draw rope or cable in new duct as required.
* Use company-provided iPad/tablet and complete daily paperwork (job sheets, risk assessments, plant sheets GA2, driver checks).
* Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification with a strong focus on health and safety.
* Manage company assets and plant assigned for duties.
* Ensure compliance with current client processes and procedures.
Knowledge & Qualifications
* Full driving licence and minimum 1 year proven driving experience.
* C + E (CE / C1E) licence desirable.
* Desirable tickets: First Aid, Abrasive Wheels, 360, LUGS, SLG.
* Experience in a similar operational or engineering environment within the telecommunications industry.
* Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external clients.
* Experience using iPad for work planning and updates.
