Job Opportunity: General Manager
We are hiring for a General Manager to lead our secondary school catering team, ensuring future generations receive nutritionally balanced and tasty food. This role is term-time only and involves no weekends, offering great flexibility.
The Role:
* Up to £32,000 per annum
* 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday
* Term-time only – working 195 weeks per year
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food to standards required by Caterlink and the client
* Ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements related to Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environmental legislation
* Enhance the company’s reputation for excellent food and service, exceeding client and customer expectations
* Manage the daily operations of the location, supervise teams, oversee inventories, monitor budgets, and implement action plans
* Serve as the main contact for the school client, recommending and implementing improvements
* Communicate regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and financial targets
* Support and train teams, leading from the front to ensure all training is completed and performance is managed

Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years experience in an Education Catering Management Role. We seek a confident, competent individual who can inspire our team with Passion and Pride.
