Currently, we are in search of a Construction Estimator with a specialty in mid-rise projects to join this dynamic team.
Role Summary: The Construction Estimator plays a pivotal role in the success of our projects by accurately determining costs, analyzing project specifications, and ensuring competitive and feasible bids. This position calls for an individual with a profound understanding of the construction industry, excellent analytical skills, and the capability to perform under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects, encompassing materials, labor, and equipment.
* Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather all pertinent information for bid preparation.
* Assess subcontractor and supplier bids, ensuring alignment with project specifications and budget constraints.
* Keep abreast of market trends and cost fluctuations to uphold estimate accuracy and competitiveness.
* Prepare detailed bid packages and proposals for review by internal and external parties.
* Facilitate a seamless transition of project cost estimates to the project management team for execution.
* Innovate and enhance estimating processes through the adoption of new technologies and methodologies.
Qualifications:
* Demonstrable experience in construction estimating, with a focus on commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects, particularly mid-rise buildings.
* Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools.
* Exceptional analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
* Strong communication and negotiation abilities, with a knack for engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline is highly regarded.
