Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading racking distributor who are seeking an experienced sales professional who can assist them in managing accounts in addition to developing new business on a regional & national basis. With a competitive package to include a good basic and strong earning potential, this is a great opportunity for an experienced sales professional from within racking & storage or other technical sales backgrounds.
Responsibilities
Manage and develop an existing client base across on a national basis
Generate new business by visiting customers on site, conducting site surveys and providing customer quotes for pallet racking and racking protection products
Take a consultative sales approach to both new and existing customers providing with them with the appropriate solutions
Develop new project based business on a regional and national basis and managing each stage of the sales pipeline
Take responsibility for region revenue stream and overall growth
Overseeing tender process from start to completionRequirements
Our client have a preference for an individual with experience in the Racking & Storage industry with a proven sales track record. However, they would also consider candidates from other technical sales backgrounds who provide a solutions approach to selling. As well as having the ability to manage and develop accounts you will be driven to win new business. It is highly preferable that you have experience of AutoCAD given the position will require the initial designs to be done by this professional, but this is not essential. In terms of location, our client is open though you must be comfortable with travelling nationally.
