What We’re Looking For Current NMC Registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN). Proven experience in nursing homes or similar care settings supporting elderly or vulnerable adults. Compassionate, patient-centred approach with a strong commitment to resident dignity. Sound clinical assessment, decision-making, and organisational skills. Ability to manage changing priorities within a dynamic care environment. Additional qualifications such as wound care, catheter care, or dementia awareness are advantageous. Key Responsibilities Deliver personalised, high-quality nursing care that meets the needs of the residents Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care plans in line with best practice and regulatory standards. Administer medications and clinical procedures safely and competently. Provide emotional support to residents and their families, building trusting and empathetic relationships. Advocate for residents’ rights, preferences, and wellbeing. Work closely with the care team to maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment. Monitor and promptly report any changes in residents’ health to ensure timely intervention. Maintain accurate and confidential care records using electronic care planning systems.
